Life at BSK for a Lower Department student is always enjoyable because there is a lot less school work and homework to do – not like in the Middle, Upper and Sixth Form Departments – Middle, upper and sixth form department have to do a lot of high demand to meet the level criteria.

All this is delivered through a rich, varied and rigorous curriculum delivered by specialists in the field of developing young minds. The building blocks for future success are laid and parents are actively encouraged to share this journey with us.

The core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science are complemented by ICT, History, Geography and Art. In addition to this Music and PE are taught by specialized teachers.

Now we will discuss the life of a juiner student life. Each student is offered opportunities to excel within a curriculum that allows for academic, artistic and linguistic successes to be achieved and celebrated. The Junior Department curriculum is based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales and consists of English, Maths, Science, Humanities, ICT, Art, Music, PE, Design and Technology, French, Social Studies.

In the Middle Department, great importance is placed on our regular Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) and Assembly programmes. PSHE is delivered by the Class Tutor and covers a variety of suitable topics which enable students to learn to about different values and attitudes, including friendship, citizenship, responsible social behavior, cooperation and teamwork, developing good relationships and respecting people’s differences. Each tutor group delivers an assembly to the rest of the Middle Department which reflects the PSHE topic being covered within the Scheme of Work for that week.

The Upper Department (UD) at BSK spans Years 9 to 11 and provides the gradual transition from Key Stage 3 through to the end of Key Stage 4. In Year 9, students are prepared for the GCSE, IGCSE and Kuwait Government examination programmes that commence in Year 10 and conclude in the Summer Term of Year 11.

A Sixth Form education prepares students thoroughly for the academic and social demands of even the most prestigious universities worldwide. The most popular destination for BSK's Sixth Form graduates is the UK, with Canada a close second, and then the USA and Australia.

Now we have discussed the life and way a student spends in B.S.K through at the whole academic year. So B.S.K is the best place for you to be because of the interesting life there.
