In the Middle Department, great importance is placed on our regular Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) and Assembly programmes. Each tutor group delivers an assembly to the rest of the Middle Department which reflects the PSHE topic being covered within the Scheme of Work for that week.

The Upper Department (UD) at BSK spans Years 9 to 11 and provides the gradual transition from Key Stage 3 through to the end of Key Stage 4. In Year 9, students are prepared for the GCSE, IGCSE and Kuwait Government examination programmes that commence in Year 10 and conclude in the Summer Term of Year 11.

A Sixth Form education prepares students thoroughly for the academic and social demands of even the most prestigious universities worldwide. The most popular destination for BSK's Sixth Form graduates is the UK, with Canada a close second, and then the USA and Australia.
